The rest of the details related to its performance, charging capabilities, and range are still under wraps. However, the fact that it will be based on Stellantis's new STLA Large platform does give us a few hints. Depending on how Jeep positions the Wagoneer S in its lineup, it will compete with the existing electric luxury SUVs on sale in the United States.

Polestar will finally unveil a production version of the Precept Concept sometime in 2025. It will be named Polestar 5, and the first details we have on it suggest it will be the company's most powerful, fastest EV. The Polestar 5 will be powered by two electric motors - one on the front axle, one on the rear axle - that will deliver a combined 884 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque.

Polestar promises it will have supercar-like performance figures, which means it should at least be faster than the Porsche Taycan Turbo S which runs from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds. But it is not only the performance figures that will make the Polestar 5 stand out. It will also feature an amazing exterior look and a cabin that will combine great space with tons of luxury features. Sales should start in time for the 2025 model year, and prices will start from about $100,000.

10 Jeep Recon

In September 2022, Jeep unveiled the Recon concept - an all-electric concept car heavily inspired by the Wrangler SUV. At the time, Jeep also announced that a production version should follow sometime in 2024. The Recon will get the familiar Wrangler look and will offer both on-road and off-road performance, but it will not be offered as a replacement for the current Wrangler. It will however deliver impressive performance figures, with up to 600 horsepower and a range of about 400 miles.

It will be built on the Stellantis STLA platform and will benefit from a lot of features that will improve its off-roading capabilities. Firstly, its hood won't be long, and the front overhangs will be minuscule, but the SUV will also benefit from cool features like electronic locking differentials (e-locker axle tech), Selec-Terrain traction management functions, and special off-road tires. The Jeep Recon will be priced from about $60,000 and will be put on sale in time for the 2025 model year.
