Pullman to Host American Chemical Society Regional Meeting with Workshops, Career Sessions, and Awards Dinner

Students, researchers, and industry representatives will be gathering at the Pullman campus next week for the Northwest Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society. Exciting Line-up of Activities The conference, scheduled from June 23-26, will feature workshops, panel discussions, career sessions, and an awards dinner at Palouse Ride Golf Club. Additionally, on June 22, the Washington-Idaho Border Section of ACS has planned chemistry activities events for kids aged 3-12 at the Palouse Discovery Science Center from 1-3 p.m. Hosted by WSU and University of Idaho This year’s event in Pullman is being hosted by the Washington-Idaho Border Section of ACS in collaboration with WSU and the University of Idaho. General Chair Zachariah Heiden, the associate director of WSU’s Nuclear Science Center, is leading the organization. The sponsoring organizations include the University of Idaho Department of Chemistry, WSU Nuclear Science Center, WSU School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, and the College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of Chemistry at WSU.
