Students, researchers, and industry representatives will be gathering at the Pullman campus next week for the Northwest Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society. Exciting Line-up of Activities The conference, scheduled from June 23-26, will feature workshops, panel discussions, career sessions, and an awards dinner at Palouse Ride Golf Club. Additionally, on June 22, the Washington-Idaho Border Section of ACS has planned chemistry activities events for kids aged 3-12 at the Palouse Discovery Science Center from 1-3 p.m. Hosted by WSU and University of Idaho This year’s event in Pullman is being hosted by the Washington-Idaho Border Section of ACS in collaboration with WSU and the University of Idaho. General Chair Zachariah Heiden, the associate director of WSU’s Nuclear Science Center, is leading the organization.
