Renowned Afrobeats sensation Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, is celebrating his mother on her first posthumous birthday today.

Wizkid’s mother, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, passed away on August 18, 2023, in London and was subsequently buried in Nigeria.

Commemorating her birthday on the X platform, the “Ojuelegba” crooner expressed how much he misses his mother. He also prayed for everyone who has lost their mother, a family member, or anyone close, asking for God’s comfort as they continue to cope with their loss.
