Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer born on July 2, 1991.

He first caught the public’s attention in 2012 with “Like to Party,” a hit single from his debut album, L.I.F.E (2013).

His career reached international levels when he signed with Atlantic Records in the United States in 2017 to release his third studio album, Outside (2018).

Burna Boy’s success continued to grow with notable achievements like winning Best International Act at the BET Awards in 2019, becoming an Apple Music Up Next artist, and receiving a Grammy nomination for his album African Giant.

His subsequent album, Twice as Tall, earned him a Grammy for Best World Music Album in 2021. In the same year, he again clinched the Best International Act at the BET Awards.
