Nigeria Women Football League side Rivers Angels have shifted focus to the Super Six playoffs tournament.

Rivers Angels walked over Ekiti Queens to qualify for the Round 16 of the Women’s President Federation Cup.

The Port Harcourt club will battle Heartland Queens, Confluence Queens, Bayelsa Queens, Edo Queens and Nasarawa Amazons for the 2024 NWFL title.

The playoffs will be staged at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa from May 18th-26th 2024.

“We trained hard and travelled to Asaba for our R32 President Federation Cup match against Ekiti Queens, but our opponent failed to show up in Asaba, We have officially walked over Ekiti Queens and qualified for the R16,” the club stated.

“Up next is preparations for the Super Six.”
