FG launches resettlement Scheme for persons impacted by conflicts in Kaudna

The Federal Government has launched the Resettlement Scheme For Persons Impacted By Conflicts (RSPIC) in Tudun Biri, the Kaduna community bombed in error by the Army last year.

Vice President Kashim Shetima who performed the groundbreaking says it marks the first step towards restoration and empowerment.

Following the accidental bombing of Tudun Biri in Kaduna by an Army drone, the federal government pledged to rebuild the community.

Seven months later, President Bola Tinubu who was represented by the Vice President launched launch the Resettlement Scheme For Persons Impacted By Conflict,

He reaffirmed the president’s dedication to strengthening the nation’s security and fostering peace.

Governor Uba Sani thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for endorsing the initiative and Vice President Kashim Shettima for organising the strategic meetings and implementation plan.

He announced that over N275 million in public and private donations had been allocated to the victims and their families and urged those who made pledges to fulfill them.

Other states to benefit from this initiative include Benue, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, and Niger.
