Birotojob Academy proudly marked a significant milestone as it graduated its first set of IT students, specializing in Data Analysis, from the April set. The vibrant graduation ceremony took place at the Birotojob Academy Training Center in Lagos, where esteemed guests, including the veteran actor Prince Jide Kosoko, graced the event with their presence. Kosoko, who encouraged the graduates to aim for higher horizons in their careers, also had the honor of presenting certificates to the accomplished students.
The event commenced at 12:00 PM with the arrival of guests and graduates, followed by an opening prayer. The host delivered the opening remarks, setting a positive tone for the ceremony. Mrs. Claire Amuka, Head of the Birotojob Program Department, warmly welcomed everyone with an inspiring speech, highlighting the journey and achievements of the graduates.
Mr. Okwuosa Charles Chinedu, CEO of Birotojob, delivered an address emphasizing the academy’s commitment to excellence and the bright future awaiting the graduates. This was followed by a series of motivational speeches from notable speakers, including Fashola-Oba, Mr. Engr. Opeyemi Opeoluwa, and Mrs. Damilare Josephine, who shared valuable insights and encouraged the graduates to strive for greatness.
A standout moment was Magnus Oku, a renowned writer and media consultant, delivering his motivational speech on “Turning Blunders into Wonders in the IT World.” Oku inspired the graduates by emphasizing that they are the change-makers and trailblazers of the future, capable of transforming challenges into opportunities.
A special presentation of the graduates was conducted by Solomon Ayide, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. The program also featured a lively musical interlude by a DJ, and performances by three comedians, adding a touch of entertainment to the celebration. An inspirational speech by a special guest further motivated the attendees.
The ceremony concluded with closing remarks by one of the students and group photos, capturing the joyous moments. Guests and graduates then enjoyed refreshments and networking opportunities, accompanied by background music from the DJ.
Birotojob, which is also accredited by ACTD – American Council of Training and Development and ITF – Industrial Training Fund, calls for interested students to join and register for Cohort 2 Summer Session starting in August 2024.
As Birotojob Academy celebrates this landmark event, it also announces the call for entries for new students for the next session this year.
