Chained Together is a game that will test the limits of your friendships. That’s not an overstatement – you will have to work together to traverse the treacherous landscape and climb up from the bowels of Hell. You can take a slow and steady approach, or make a dash for it to complete the challenges as fast as possible. We don’t judge! But your friends might judge you if you’re going too fast or too slow. The game is all about teamwork and how long it takes you to beat Chained together is entirely up to you and your group.

How long is Chained Together?

Chained Together takes place on a single vast map, taking you and your friends on a journey from Hell and culminating in the Garden, a veritable Heaven. You will need to climb a total of 3600 meters to reach it, while the game tracks your progress with height and time meters. Here’s how long it would take to beat the game across different metrics:

Is Chained Together faster solo or in multiplayer?

This largely depends on your group and your own skills in playing the game. If you’re surefooted and able to quickly jump and climb, then it’s possible that you’d be quicker on your own. But if you fall, there’s no one to catch you and save your progress.

Similarly, if your friends are clumsy, they can slow you down. But if your group is well coordinated and works well together, then you will climb faster than on your own.

With that said, we would estimate that it would take approximately the same amount of time to complete the game both solo or in a group. Your mileage may vary, leaving plenty of room for mistakes or heroic rescues.
