SENECA, S.C. (WCIV) — The Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) is planning a protest at Senator Lindsey Graham's (R-SC) home in Seneca on July 4 in support of Palestinians as the Israel-Hamas war enters its ninth month.

They plan to gather at Graham's home to protest the senator's economic support of Israel and make known their overall demand for an end to U.S. aid to Israel.

PSL claims that Senator Lindsey Graham has a "hawkish stance" on the topic and that his "warmongering rhetoric has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza." They also claim his recent comments stating that Israel should do "whatever" it has to – while comparing Israel’s war on Gaza to the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki – reflect a genocidal disregard for Palestinian lives and international human rights.

“I'm Palestinian, and I have friends and family in Palestine,” Rose Hassouneh of PSL said during an interview with the organization. “I am taking part in this campaign to support their struggle for liberation, and because we must end all U.S. support for the Israeli apartheid regime."

The "South Carolina People's Red Line Tour," according to PSL, is a series of actions aimed at stopping the ongoing killing of Palestinians in Gaza.

During their demonstrations on the tour, they plan to display a 200-foot-long “red line” banner that they say will represent President Biden's lie about his “red line” commitment to stopping U.S. weapons shipments to Israel.

Protestors will also display a 15-foot-long Palestinian flag to symbolize their solidarity with the Palestinian people.
