The police in Ekiti State have arraigned eight persons before a Chief Magistrate Court in Ado-Ekiti over an alleged wandering and disorderliness in the state capital.

The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that the suspects, on June 21, at about 8:30am at Ado-Ekiti magisterial district, were found wandering in such a manner that led to the conclusion that they were for illegal or disorderly purpose.

Counsels to the defendants, A. T. Lawal, M. A. Faola and others, urged the court to grant their clients’ bail.
