TikiTaka wallop Liberian team to step up Gothia Cup buildup
TikiTaka Nigeria stepped up their preparations for this year’s Gothia Cup in Sweden with a comfortable 4-1 win over Liberia’s Blackman Warriors.
Striker Terfa Dennis scored a brace for TikiTaka to win this test game played at the Area 3 Sports Ground in Abuja Saturday.
Liberian club Blackman Warriors are also in Abuja preparing for the Helsinki Cup in Finland.
TikiTaka are due to feature in Cup 1 in Denmark in the first week of July before they move to Sweden for the Gothia Cup.
They are drawn in Group 3 of the U17 Elite Boys along with Swedish clubs Degerfors IF and Elfsborg as well as FK Cukaricki of Serbia.
They open their campaign on Monday, July 15.
