It’s been a year since Obaseki appointed his commissioners, whom we all believed would bring about much-needed change to his government. In the past, we heard of Commissioner Ero, whose dynamic exploits were evident everywhere. However, the current set of commissioners in Edo State are nothing more than a flock of hungry, dormant sheep, whose sole function seems to be defending Obaseki’s ineffectiveness on social media. Practically all the Special Advisers (SAs) and Senior Special Advisers (SSAs) are now merely media mouthpieces.

Obaseki has gathered these individuals to exploit the state resources for his defense. It is rare to find anyone working under Obaseki who retains their integrity and senses. They are more focused on creating skits to please Obaseki and his protégé, Asue, instead of focusing on their official duties.

The so called commissioners/SAs and SSAs and their alleged Chief in looting Obaseki are “Finishing Edo Well” by plugging the State into massive debt and also fanning Obaseki and Asue to keep fighting the Palace over artefacts.

May our story at the end of the day not become the sorrow statement of “We are finished”

My fellow Edo people, we cannot continue with these failures in government and their sets of paid hailers. We must collectively come together to start building the new Edo State of our dreams by voting for THE MAN WEY WE SABI!
