Igbotako APC endorses Ibrahim

The endorsement was reached at an enlarged meeting of the APC in the locality.

Leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at Igbotako in Okitipupa Local Government of Ondo State have endorsed Senator Jimoh Ibrahim as their choice for the November governorship election.

Chairman of APC Igbotako Ward 1, Adebolujo Adedoyin, who addressed reporters after the meeting, said they would take the campaign for Ibrahim to other local governments.

He said Ibrahim had proved to be the right person to govern the state.

Adedoyin said: “We are gathering here to show to our leaders that we are voting for Senator Ibrahim here in Igbotako. This meeting is to reaffirm our commitment to the candidature of our performing senator.

“Ibrahim has the capacity to offer good governance. He has performed well at the National Assembly. We trust him and urge APC members to vote for him.”

Another APC leader in the locality, Emmanuel Afolagbade, appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to provide a level playing field for the aspirants.

He said they would visit APC members in the 18 local governments to canvass support for Senator Ibrahim.
