Arsenal fans spot Bukayo Saka's superb reply to Tottenham fans after embarrassing chant
Bukayo Saka had the perfect response to an embarrassing chant from Tottenham Hotspur fans on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners made the short trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to try and keep their title hopes alive against their bitter rivals. Spurs fans attempted to get under the skin of Arsenal star Saka early doors when he went to take a corner.
In a video that has emerged on social media, Spurs fans can be heard chanting: "You let your country down!" Spurs' fans were referencing Saka's Euro 2020 final penalty miss against Italy which saw England fall at the final hurdle when attempting to win their first major trophy since 1966.

Saka ignored the chants as he whipped the ball into the near post - where it was met Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who was the wrong side of his man. Hojbjerg then powered the ball past his own keeper, causing the Spurs fans to fall silent.
And as the Danish midfielder put his hands onto his head, Saka turned to the Tottenham fans and cupped his ears with a cheeky smile.
Arsenal loves absolutely loved it. "Imagine singing 'you let your country down' to Bukayo Saka in 2024. Embarrassing from Spurs. Absolutely love his response though," one fan said. While a second replied: "He's actually an elite rattler!"
"Why on earth would you post that. Would be going grave with me," a third questioned. And another added: "Saka putting them in their place omg they’re so embarrassing!"
While a fifth said: "That's how you answer your critics!"
The Gunners raced into a 3-0 lead against their bitter rivals but survived a scare in the second-half as Tottenham clawed the game back to 3-2. The result temporarily moved the Gunners four points clear at the summit of the Premier League table.
However, Manchester City cut the gap a couple of hours later, beating Nottingham Forest 2-0. They can leapfrog the Gunners into top spot if they win their remaining games.
