Finidi, Amuneke, Amokachi - NFF technical cttee makes latest decision on new Super Eagles coach

The NFF technical committee has now made fresh recommendations to the executive committee who should be the new coach of the Super Eagles.

A top source informed SCORENigeria that they have now narrowed their choices to three local coaches – Finidi George, Emmanuel Amuneke and Daniel Amokachi, while also ordering their preferred choices.

Finidi is the first choice, Amuneke is a second option with Amokachi third choice.

This was against their earlier stance to list foreign coaches for the top post and the Sports Minister’s prompting that they will be the ones to pay such a coach.

The three coaches recommended are all former internationals, who at various times have been involved as coaches of the Super Eagles.

It is now left for the NFF board to decide who will be the next Super Eagles coach.
