Kwara LG Polls: 38 year-old Banker Emerges PDP Candidate in Ilorin South

A 38 year-old Banker, Mohammed Ayodeji Ismail fondly called MAIGIDA has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship candidate for Ilorin South in 2024 Kwara local government elections.

Mohammed Ayodeji Ismail defeated other Aspirants during PDP primary election held on Thursday.

The Banker hails from reputable Maigida’s family led Alhaji Mohammed Baba of Edun Street while her mother is from Alaya’s family.

He holds degree in Business Management from University of Bolton, United Kingdom. He earned his Master of Business Administration MBA from University of Gloucestershire Cheltenham, United Kingdom.

Maigida quest for knowledge made him return to London Metropolitan University for Masters of Science in International Banking & Finance.

Mohammed earlier attended Telford Business School and Stratford College of Business and Management to enhance his business management skills.

The PDP candidate for Ilorin South local government is a certified Information Communication and Technology expert with Xerox Network Associate Computer Institute.

Mohammed, a staff of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) rose from Executive Trainee to Relationship Manager/Assistant Branch Manager at Gudu branch Abuja.

In his acceptance speech promised to bring rapid development and enhance welfare of staff Ilorin South local government.
