Dr. Sola Agboola wins SDP gubernatorial candidate for the November 2024 gubernatorial elections.

In the primary elections on the Social Democratic Party (SDP) that was held today, 27th April 2024, has produced Dr. Sola Agboola as the gubernatorial candidate of the part in Ondo State.

The primary witnessed a large turn out of 540 member delegates of all the 18 local governments in Ondo State. During the contest, the contending opposing aspirant in the person of Mrs. Magbayelo Olamide stepped down for Dr. Sola Agboola, while Hon. Idowu Olorunda lost to Dr. Agboola with 400 votes. Olorunda who later express optimism and confidence in the leadership style of Dr. Sola Agboola, congratulate him and prefers him to run for the gubernatorial election in the state.

After the election, Dr. Sola Agboola, a seasoned academian and the Secretary of the party in the State appreciated the entire party faithful as well as the delegates who turned out to participate in the primary, He applauded Dr. Tope Ajulo On
