The Green Pencil Foundation, in collaboration with Jagran Connect, will host a 'Sustainable Practices at Home' workshop at KIIT World School, Sohna Road, Gurugram, on July 10, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM in the school's auditorium.

The workshop aims to instill sustainable habits in students, empowering them to make significant environmental impacts. By engaging young minds in community-driven initiatives, the Green Pencil Foundation seeks to cultivate a culture of sustainability from an early age.

Leading the workshop will be Priya Yadav, City Head of Green Pencil Foundation in Gurugram, and Sandy Khanda, Founder of Green Pencil Foundation. Their expertise and passion for environmental advocacy promise an enriching session.

Dr Neelima Kamrah, Principal of KIIT World School, expressed enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled to host this workshop, offering our students valuable sustainability skills to make a positive difference."

Around 200 students are expected to participate, highlighting the growing interest in sustainability among the younger generation.

Engagement with Jagran Connect

Jagran Connect, a community platform of Jagran.com and the digital media partner for this event, will interact with students, emphasising building communities around environmental issues. They will also conduct the Green Champions Quiz, rewarding students with goodies to encourage participation.
