Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abdul-Aziz Abubakar, took a jab at some top members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a post shared on his X platform on Monday, June 24, 2024, Abubakar noted that the administration led by President Bola Tinubu has left some of their supporters dissatisfied with the current political situation.

The Atiku Abubakar supporter claimed that the chieftains listed below belong are part of the “Tinubu Regret Organisation (TRO).”

The list includes Nasir El-Rufai, the immediate past governor of Kaduna state, as the “founder” of the organization.

It is worth recalling that President Bola Tinubu nominated El-Rufai as a minister, but the Senate refused to confirm him due to “security clearance” issues.

Also on the list is Senator representing Zamfara West, Rabiu Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano state and the flagbearer of the New Nigeria's Peoples Party (NNPP) as the “grand patron”.

Aisha Binani, a former senator, was listed as the “women leader,” Kabir Marafa, a former senator, took the position of the “public relations officer,” and Yahaya Bello, a former governor of Kogi, was named the “youth leader.”

Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi who was mentioned on the list is currently evading the clutches of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He is accused of diverting over N80 billion belonging to Kogi state.
