Chelsea have already put forward an offer for AC Milan shot-stopper Mike Maignan

CHELSEA made some big signings last summer that they believed would help the club challenge for a Champions League spot and maybe add some silverware to the cabinet.

One arrival that was made was that of Robert Sanchez – who was no longer wanted at Brighton and was quickly signed up by the Blues as they were desperate to add a new stopper to the side.

He has been a massive part of that Chelsea side this season – but he is not seen as a man that is good enough to play for one of the big Premier League clubs and has really struggled to impress.

That has led to alot of speculation in the media that Chelsea will once again delve into that transfer kitty and add a new goalkeeper to the side, and Maignon is a man that has been linked with a move to London for a while.

Maignon has made 42 appearances for Milan this season and has kept 15 clean sheets and has firmly established himself as one of the best goalkeepers on Seria A and maybe even Europe.

And it has been claimed that Chelsea are dreaming of signing Mike Maignon in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes and have already put through an offer to bring him to the Premier League.

However – it will be very hard for Chelsea to get a transfer deal done as Milan have no intention of letting the big man leave at the end of the season.

Maignon is a world class goalkeeper and a star that would be loved by CHELSEA fans  – if the reports are true and the Blues are keen on the player then they should definitely get a deal done for the man.

He is a couple of steps up from the quality that Chelsea already have at the club.
