Former AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is set to sign a lucrative three-year deal for Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, as per Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian coach was left without a job after the end of last season.

Pioli had an impressive spell at the Rossoneri as he led the team in 2022 to their first Serie A title since 2011.

However, he was let go by the Milan-based giants at the end of the season due to poor results.

He is now set to take over from Marcelo Gallardo at Al-Ittihad after an abysmal season which saw the team finish fifth in the Saudi Pro League.
