1. Davido and Chioma

The marriage of Afrobeats singer Davido and his longtime partner Chioma filled their fans' hearts with immense happiness and fulfillment.

After four years of anticipation, this wedding finally took place on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in Harbour Point, Victoria Island. While Davido looked gorgeous in each of the four ensembles, Chioma looked magnificent in her traditional garb.

The elite were the only ones permitted to attend the wedding, which was strictly by invitation. Prominent dignitaries, including Olusegun Obasanjo, the Ooni of Ife, and other state governors, were also present.

2. Moses Bliss and Marie Wiseborn

Nigerians learned from gospel musician Moses Bliss that flamboyance and noise are not always effective; rather, minimalists occasionally create a lot of noise.

Moses Bliss and his better half, Marie Wiseborn, who is a Ghanaian, held a civil wedding on February 27, 2024, in Abuja. The couple had their customary ceremony on February 29, 2024, in Accra, Ghana's capital city.

The marriage was a dream come true for the two, as Moses constantly eulogized his wife and also composed a number of songs for her. Marie's parents wore traditional Ghanaian kente costumes, and the bridal party looked stunning in orange outfits.

Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja married her partner Ugo Nwoke on Friday, June 28, in front of their loved ones, friends, and coworkers.

The traditional ceremony took place on Thursday, June 27, and it was in a sophisticated setting with a riot of colours.

The white wedding was also held on Saturday, June 29, at the Harvesters International Christian Center in Lagos.

The bride beamed with happiness as her father walked her down the aisle, seemingly overwhelmed by the thrill of the occasion.

5. Kunle Remi and Tiwi

Social media users were surprised when Nollywood actor Kunle Remi revealed that he was getting married to his cherished wife, Boluwatiwi Oye. The shocking revelation of the actor's marriage was unexpected for fans of the actor.

Many were more shocked when Kunle Remi's best friend and coworker, Bimbo Ademoye played the role of his best man.

6. VeeKee James and Femi Atere

Nigerian actress Wofai Fada also threw social media into a frenzy after pre-wedding photos of her and her partner Taiwo Cole surfaced. After news broke that the pair were about to tie the knot, Taiwo's family released a statement that they were not a part of the union and they had not given their consent.

This became the talk of the town as many advised Wofai to discontinue the marriage as it would have future repercussions. However, Wofai decided to continue with the marriage, stating how happy she was to spend forever with her husband, Taiwo.

8. Theophilus Sunday and Ashlee White

Gospel artist Theophilus Sunday also got tongues wagging with his marriage to his Jamaican fiancée, Ashlee White. The singer took to his social media account on March 19, 2024, to share their pre-wedding photos.

Ashlee White's pre-wedding attire sparked debate among netizens, who remarked that the dress was unsuitable for a gospel minister’s wife. However, many saw nothing wrong with the outfit, adding that it was not as revealing as many people perceived it.

9 Yinka and Chidera

Yinka Ashogbon and Precious Chidera Udeh, joined the 2024 Lovebirds train after exchanging vows in a secret ceremony in Lagos on April 14.

The groom, Yinka Ash, had announced on social media in January that he was engaged to Chidera and ever since then, they have been preparing for their special day.

Yinka and Chidera, being fashionistas, made sure they arrived in style. The groom looked stunning in a similar pair of white slacks and a double-breasted white suit.
