Job Title: Base Manager

Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

• The Base Manager is responsible for all operational activities at the Base, including planning, organizing and control, the utilization and repair of plant, equipment, infrastructure, as well as managing and control of personnel.
• He provides leadership, discipline and direction for the efficient running and growth of the Base.
• The Base Manager is accountable for the overall operation of the Base with special focus on logistics, QHSE, controls and processes and security.

Essential Job Functions

• Formulation and implementation of policies; and, management of daily operations at the Base station.
• Supervise the day-to-day activities of individuals performing jobs at the base.
• Management ofImportation process, clearing etc.
• Receipt of stock of chemicals into warehouse.
• Deliveries from warehouseto customers
• Stock management on site
• Supervision of Equipment importation (i.e. clearing and receiving into the warehouse)
• Base Maintenance (generator, buildings, etc.)
• Management and Supervision of all on-site construction
• QHSE on site
• Supervise the management of Laboratory
• Management and control of equipment for Eunisell Ltd business
• Management of Admin on site (HR, Finance etc.); the people will also have functional reporting to their respective unit heads.
• Management of all vehicles and equipment at the Base.
• General house-keeping (grass, walkways, car park etc. keeping place tidy, implementing 5Son site (or 6S).
• Management of site security.
• Identify and address resource needs (people and assets);
• Coordinate the engagement and use of third party services and equipment at the base.
• Supervise the performance of Eunisell departments/product service line.
• Reports to be sent as required.

Training / Skills Required

• Strong communications and organizational skills to address resource demand challenges;
• Proven analytical and complex problem solving ability;
• Fluent in English verbally and in writing.
