Turkey won its Euro 24 opener, 3-1, over Georgia to secure three critical points in an effort to finish among the top 16 teams. A 3-0 setback to Portugal on Saturday followed, but Turkey still might be just a point away from qualifying for the Round of 16. Three points would guarantee that spot or perhaps help Czechia steal that position with three points of its own. The Czechia side is 0-1-1 with a 1-1 draw with Georgia and a 3-1 loss to Portugal.
