Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit has revealed his dream summer signings for the Gunners, highlighting two exciting attackers who could significantly bolster their squad.

In an interview, Petit declared that Nico Williams, the young Spanish winger currently at Athletic Bilbao, would be a “dream signing” for Arsenal. “I’ve been watching him in Spain,” Petit said, “but he has impressed me a lot during Euro 2024. I think this guy could have a huge impact at Arsenal.”

Williams’ pace, trickery, and ability to create chances would provide Arsenal with a potent attacking weapon, particularly on the flanks.

Petit also pinpointed Napoli’s prolific striker Victor Osimhen as a key target for the Gunners. “I think Arsenal need to also look at Osimhen,” he stated. “This guy has all the character he needs to thrive. He’s got great ambition and when I mention his character, he reminds me of players who were in the Premier League back in the day.”

Osimhen’s powerful presence, aerial ability, and clinical finishing would give Arsenal a true focal point in attack, someone who could hold up the ball and create chances for his teammates.

“He will work incredibly hard on the pitch and Arsenal are desperate to get a real striker,” Petit continued. “Osimhen can hold two central defenders easily. He can play on the ground, he can play in the air. It will be important as well on set pieces.”
