Adepoju Eyes Super Eagles Head Coach Position

The Super Eagles have been without a head coach since the departure of Finidi George, which was due to a fallout with the Nigeria Football Federation.

However, the NFF has been actively searching for a new manager, with several names being considered.

While speaking on the Madrid Podcast, Adepoju said he wouldn’t mind taking the position if available.

“We had several players in the Castilla team who are brilliant coaches today, and we didn’t see it at the time.

“I have a UEFA Pro License myself, so if there is an opportunity, I wouldn’t mind. I’m open. I once coached Shooting Stars in Nigeria, but I haven’t coached since then,” he said.

It’s a crucial time for the Nigerian national football team, and any incoming coach would face the significant task of qualifying the nation for the World Cup.
