Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has expressed deep shock over the demise of the Chairman of the State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), Alhaji Mansur Shehu (Dan Galadiman Wazirin Gwandu)

Alhaji Mansur died on Monday night in a hospital in Abuja of a brief illness.

In a condolence message, Dr.
Idris said that he was highly touched by the news of the passing away of the late LGSC Chairman.

The Governor described the late Alhaji Mansur Shehu as a dedicated and committed person whose tenure as the Chairman of LGSC was momentous and hugely successful.

Comrade, Dr. also extolled the deceased’s invaluable contributions to the reform of the operations of LG Councils in the state.

According to Dr. Idris, the death of Alhaji Mansur Shehu has created a wide vacuum that is too difficult to fill.

He prayed the Almighty Allah to grant him Aljannat Firdaus and give his family the formidable fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

He has been buried in Abuja according to Islamic rites, attended by Governor Nasir Idris and top Government officials.
