The Rotary Club of Kampala Kibuli has installed Julie J. Kariisa as its new president.

The glitzy affair saw Ms Kariisa replacing Rhemie Kigundu, who had served for one year.

The outgoing leadership at the club described Ms Kariisa as a dedicated and multitasking leader who will serve and push the club to greater heights.

Family members, relatives and Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Kampala Kubuli and the Rotaract Club of Upper Kibuli were all smiles as they installed their new presidents and inducted new members.

During the installments of the two clubs, the District Governor of the Club, Ms Anne Nkutu, tasked the new leadership to work towards sustainability of the club.

Ms Kariisa thanked the club for entrusting her with with leadership to take on the club for the next year, pledging her commitment to push the club to greater heights.

“Thank you for giving me this chance to lead you, I will serve you wholeheartedly while working together," she said.

At the event, dedicated Rotarians were awarded for their unwavering support towards the club, while 13 new members were inducted into the club.
