The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, July 4, reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will continue to fret over Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as they wait for news on his condition. Connor is currently in isolation since he was moved to inpatient status after hurting himself again.
Chelsea and Adam wanted to stay close by, so they extended their Baltimore trip – and that’ll lead to some unanticipated consequences.
As Adam and Chelsea spend some time reminiscing to distract themselves, they’ll get swept up in a powerful moment together. Chelsea and Adam’s history will come roaring back as old feelings take control.
Y&R spoilers say Adam and Chelsea will indulge in a make-out session, which seems poised to escalate into a full-blown bedroom betrayal.
Chelsea and Adam will make a big mistake by cheating on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), but there’ll be time to deal with regrets later.
For now, Adam and Chelsea will just let themselves surrender to what they’re feeling, so they’ll enjoy the mutual comfort and familiar spark.
Back in Genoa City, Diane Jenkins-Abbott’s (Susan Walters) past decisions will haunt her once again.
It looks like Diane will try to smooth things over with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and convince him not to move out with Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell), but she may end up making matters worse.
Kyle may rehash his abandonment issues and add to Diane’s guilt on Thursday’s episode.
Whatever the case, Diane will ultimately pay a steep price for her everything she’s done – including her recent decision to fire Kyle, which served as the tipping point in their fragile relationship.
Next, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will meet with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and confront him about the revenge scheme that’s obviously underway.
Jack will also want answers about Kyle and the part he’s going to play in the feud that’s reigniting.
Victor may not divulge the details, but he’ll probably acknowledge that he’s indeed going after Jack over his reckless night with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Whether Victor spills anything about Kyle’s new Glissade job or not, the puzzle pieces are going to click into place for Jack soon – especially since the press release is coming out in the morning.
