In a conversation with CNBC-TV18, Davin Leong, APAC General Manager for Biologique Recherche, expressed the company's plan to double its partner count in India over the next five years. Leong emphasized the vast opportunities present in India's beauty and skincare industry as it progresses towards more sophisticated and personalized skincare solutions.

Strategic Market Expansion
Founded in the 1970s by Yvan and Josette Allouche, Biologique Recherche is renowned for its highly customized skincare products and methodologies based on a clinical skincare approach. With a global presence in over 80 countries, the brand predominantly collaborates with spas, medical spas, and luxury hotels. However, as the consumer and retail landscape in India evolves swiftly, Biologique Recherche aims to explore additional avenues to connect with Indian consumers directly.

Direct-to-Consumer Approach
The brand is considering diversifying its distribution channels in India by exploring the direct-to-consumer model alongside its current professional network. While Biologique Recherche will maintain its focus on partnering with esteemed clinics, dermatologists, and doctors, it is also exploring the possibility of retail touchpoints to expand its reach. The brand remains committed to maintaining a selective approach when choosing retail partners, ensuring alignment with its brand philosophy and treatment methods.
