Man charged after 14-year-old boy injured during shooting in Westwood, police say
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man was arrested and charged after a 14-year-old boy was injured during a shooting in Westwood on Monday evening, police said.
18-year-old, Bradley Smith was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, police said.
Officers responded to a shooting in the 800 Block of Pawnee Avenue at 5:03 p.m.
According to police, the 14-year-old boy was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
Memphis police said preliminary information indicated that the shooting was accidental.
