HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — The Haywood County Sheriff's Office located and arrested the person who stole a trailer belonging to the Asheville Humane Society on Monday, July 1.

Joshua Allen Forrest, 25, was taken into custody without incident and the trailer was recovered.

Forrest was charged with two counts of felony larceny and booked into the Haywood County Detention Facility under a $10,000 bond.

He has since been released.
