Social media star Abdu Rozik has vowed to ‘smash’ Hasbulla as he weighed in just under 64lb for his boxing debut tomorrow night in Dubai.

The singer from Tajikistan has a long-standing rivalry with Hasbulla, but is making the first actual move into the fighting world in the featured bout at Social Knockout 3 in the Coca-Cola Arena. He will face fellow influencer Erali Boyqobilov in what he hopes to be the first of many social media fights.

Joining Abdu Rozik and Erali Boyqobilov on the card in Dubai are the likes of Misfits Boxing stars Salt Papi and Fox ‘The G’ Townley. Also featured is the boxing debut of former UFC star Darren Till, as well as YouTuber MoVlogs.

Abdu Rozik weighs in at 63lb for boxing debut

Abdu Rozik, who is age 20 and stands at 3’8″ tipped the scales at 28.6kg, or just over 63lb while his rival Erali Boyqobilov was 30kg, or just over 66lb. However, Boyqobilov was wearing a full suit as he jumped on the scales, and their weights were likely even closer.

The pair faced off after the fact, with Abdu Rozik opting not to spend much time in the staredown as he donned a hood. Boyqobilov offered him a fist bump at one stage, which he accepted as promoter Tam Khan gleefully watched on.

It was part of an eventful weigh-in that included the return of Salt Papi and a shoving match between Darren Till and his rival Moh Mutie. The Palestinian-born MMA fighter reminded his rival of previous knockouts he has suffered in his career, most famously against Jorge Masvidal in London.

However, Till refused to be drawn into anything more active, and kept up a face-off. Other highlights were Fox The G’s appearance as well as MoVlogs, who is one of the biggest stars on social media in the Middle East.

Abdu Rozik vows to ‘smash’ Hasbulla in grudge fight

No matter what, the discussion around Abdu Rozik and fighting will always come back to his greatest rival Hasbulla. The pair have been feuding for years since a viral YouTube video of the pair facing off in Russia went viral.

But with Abdu Rozik now the first of the pair to actually step into the ring, he is keen to make the fight happen. “I will knockout this one and after I will buy a handbag for Hasbulla,” he told Fred Talks Fighting in an interview at the weigh-ins.

“Because he is scared, he don’t want to fight. Hasbulla, I want to smash this guy, the small guy. And then after I want to smash him and the second one will be you, baby.”

Abdu Rozik has been training to fight for a long time, telling host Fred Beck: “I am doing too much hard work every day. I am getting ready, doing ice baths, three hours training and I am waiting for this moment a long time.

“Tomorrow is going to be a tough fight, I don’t know if people are thinking it’s fake or something, people will think ‘oh how will they fight?’ Actually, it will be a crazy fight, I’m not joking. I am training one month, I am trying to learn boxing and become better, it made my bones bigger and I feel like a man when I’m boxing.”
