apexlifehub.com 2 days ago

In the heart of Hall County, Georgia, peach growers are celebrating an unprecedented season of peach production. Historic Yield Achieved: Drew Echols, a member of Jaemor Farms, is delighted with the exceptional crop this year, noting that it has been four years since they last saw such success. The absence of the usual late spring freeze has allowed the orchard to thrive, resulting in a record-breaking harvest. Efficient Harvesting Process: Echols mentioned that their dedicated 16-person team is currently harvesting peaches for five hours daily, with plans to increase the hours to 10-12 in July and August, aiming to yield an impressive 400 bushels. This level of productivity is not unique to Jaemor Farms, as growers across Georgia are experiencing plentiful harvests. Continuing the Legacy: Paying tribute to his grandfather, Echols highlighted the 130 acres of peach orchards at the farm, which include both newly planted trees and those established by his grandfather. These thriving orchards stand as a testament to his grandfather's commitment to peach cultivation, showcasing the enduring legacy of peach production at Jaemor Farms.
