Bluffton University and University of Findlay are teaming up to offer a unique opportunity for the public to explore the richness of local ecosystems. Join the Bioblitz Event on Saturday, July 13th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and delve into the wonders of nature like never before. Expert-led Exploration Faculty experts will guide participants through a captivating journey, starting at the Rieck Center for Habitat Studies in Mount Blanchard. From there, the adventure continues to the Spurgat Land Conservancy in Rawson and the Bluffton University Nature Preserve in Bluffton. Species Identification Get hands-on experience by working alongside biologists, ecologists, and naturalists to identify various species that call these preserves home. Fostering Awareness and Appreciation Ben Dolan, associate professor of biology and director of natural areas and plant collections for the University of Findlay, expressed his enthusiasm for this collaborative effort in a press release.
