LIFE-SAVING DONATION: Iya Abbas Foundation Boosts MAUTH Yola’s Medical Capabilities with Emergency Supplies
In a move to enhance healthcare delivery in Adamawa State, the Iya Abbas Foundation has donated essential medical items to the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital (MAUTH) in Yola. The donated items, which include medical aprons, insulin, and syringes, are expected to improve the hospital’s ability to provide quality care to its patients.
The Iya Abbas Foundation, known for its philanthropic efforts, has been supporting the less privileged in Adamawa State through various initiatives, including free medical outreaches, scholarships, and feeding programs. The Chief Medical Director of MAUTH, Professor Adamu Bakari Girei, expressed gratitude for the donation and promised to use the items judiciously. “We appreciate the Iya Abbas Foundation for this kind gesture,” he said. “These medical items will go a long way in enhancing our service delivery to patients. We urge other individuals and foundations to borrow a leaf from the Iya Abbas Foundation and support our efforts to provide quality healthcare to the citizens.”

Dr. Aliyu Mahmud Talba, representing IMAN, commended the foundation for its philanthropic efforts and encouraged others to follow suit.
