Below Deck Mediterranean star Aesha Scott is engaged to boyfriend Scott ‘Scotty’ Dobson.

The reality star, 31, said yes after her partner got down on one knee during a romantic proposal near her hometown of New Zealand earlier this month, after four years of dating, as per Us Weekly.

‘Homunga Bay was my dream place to get engaged, but I had no idea it was coming and was totally surprised,’ Aesha shared about the proposal.

Scott created a unique ring for Aesha — who opened up about being sexually assaulted in a resurfaced clip last year — with her favorite jewelry designer, Layla Kaisi.

The round-cut diamond center set with accent diamonds honored her family, with the champagne stone meant to represent her brother, who died when Aesha was 20.

‘Scott was so thoughtful and cared deeply about creating a piece that truly symbolized Aesha and his love for her,’ the jewelry designer told the publication.

Aesha and Scott first met in high school, before reconnecting in 2020.

In March she revealed that the pair have bought a house together.

‘GAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH GUESS WHAAAAAAT!!!!! SOLD!!!!! TO US!!!!!!!! WE HAVE FINALLY GONE UNCONDITIONAL ON A HOUSE. After five months of offers and hopes going up and then down, having been conditional three times, and still living out of suitcases on the floor we have finally gone unconditional on a place we both ADORE!!!!!!’ she wrote on Instagram.

‘We both felt at home the moment we walked in the door!!! Low-key, open, light, wooden floors, big deck, very happy. Feeling chuffed all of our hard work and savings have given us a place to call home (Or Base Camp because we will still be travelling and in the US a lot).’

In 2020 she gushed about her other half in a sweet Instagram post.

‘This guy though. I’ll go ahead and address the elephant in the room. Yes he is the blatantly more attractive/photogenic/talentedatEVERYTHING side of this duo, but I feel like what I bring is a certain mysterious spice, especially when I do things like cry over two-minute noodles for no reason when I’m on my period,’ she wrote.

‘So basically a power couple,’ the star added.

‘I’m so in love with him. We’re coming up on three years now and I just still adore every single part of him. So, I feel very lucky.’

‘We went to Ecuador for a couple of weeks, which was cool and then I went back to New Zealand and Scott actually came a month early and surprised me for my birthday.’
