Pres. Tinubu won’t sign any document that will hurt Nigerians – Information Minister

The Federal Government has assured that it will not sign any document that will affect the country.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, stated this at a briefing on Saturday, 6th of July, 2024.

He clarified that there’s a law against “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender” (LGBT) in Nigeria, and the Federal Government would not go against the law.

Idris said:

“The President and this administration will not in any way sign anything that will harm our nation.

“So all those clamouring that there is a signature out there that gives away our country as LGBT compliance country or seeking to do that is mischaracterisation, misrepresentation.

“The Federal government insists that our laws will be respected, our traditions will also be respected.

“There is a law existing against the issue of LGBT, the federal government of Nigeria will not go against that. It is important that we put this out there.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>
