The Borno-based club defeated Abia Warriors 2-0 in the final on Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.

Nasir Salihu was the standout performer, scoring in both halves to secure the victory for El-Kanemi Warriors.

Despite missing an earlier penalty, Salihu redeemed himself by netting the opener in the 32nd minute, giving El-Kanemi the lead going into half time.

In addition to their CAF Confederation Cup spot, the club also earned a N50 million cash prize.
