Princess Kate and Meghan Markle are clearly at odds with one another today and according to Omid Scobie, they never had a proper relationship of any kind. He claims that the division between Prince William and Prince Harry is what caused the two women to stay away from one another.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and now Omid Scobie have recently made waves in royal news over the last years. It is no secret that Princess Kate and Meghan Markle do not get along very well.
Markle And Middleton's Relationship
At first, the two seemed to at least give it a try, since they were even photographed at a tournament at one point. Omid Scobie, however, seems to disagree, stating in his book.
“The Palace was certainly never shy about telling all of the journalists in the press pack, including myself, that 'these are two very different women. They're not going to have much in common, but at least there's respect there.”
