Brady Hammerer faces 11 counts of making threats to a prosecutor
A Milwaukee man accused of threatening to kill Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm has been charged with 11 counts of making a threat to a prosecutor. Between May 11 and June 20, 2024, Brady Hammerer, 31, sent 11 emails to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office threatening to kill Chisholm, according to the criminal complaint. The emails were also CC’d to an office of U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, who represents the state of Texas, and some of them contained threats to kill him as well, the complaint says. An email on June 16 said, "You guys gotta die uwm has to get shut down I have to kill people".
