Christopher Reeve lives on!
onJames Gunn is taking more than just inspiration from Christopher Reeve! It seems the iconic actor’s son will be making an appearance in the upcoming Superman reboot.
It’s no secret that James Gunn is a massive fan of Christopher Reeve’s take on Superman. The costume for the reboot alone shows how big of an influence those films have on the reboot. However, it seems Reeve will be celebrated in more than just memory, with his son Will Reeve recently being spotted in set photos for the film by Cleveland.com, suggesting a cameo appearance.

James Gunn’s Superman reboot isn’t the only time Will Reeve will be seen on the silver screen in the coming years. Super/Man, a documentary focusing on the life of Christopher Reeve, will feature contribitions from both him and his siblings Matthew and Alexandra in order to honor the memory of the beloved actor.
James Gunn’s Cavalcade Of Set Visits
Will Reeve isn’t the only one dropping by the set of Superman. In addition to Christopher Reeve’s son, James Gunn has brought the grandsons of Superman’s co-creator Jerry Siegel onto the set of his reboot. While they won’t likely have a cameo, it’s nice to see the respect the director has for the character’s long history.
Another person who may have a role in the reboot following a set visit is Chris Pratt. While it hasn’t yet been confirmed if he’ll appear in Superman, he did visit the production not long before Christopher Reeve’s son. Perhaps, even if not a massive role, Pratt could make a small cameo like Will Reeve will probably have.
