Members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Osun State have alleged threat to their life by members of the Osun State Transport Management System.

This follows an attack on the leadership of the park management system in the State during the week.

This was the protest that followed an attack on the state Secretariat of the Transport Management System in Osogbo.

Here, they alleged that the attack was carried out by some members of the transport system and the NURTW.

But the NURTW leadership who denies involvement in the attack expressed shock that the Union’s name is being mentioned.

Addressing Journalists in Osogbo, Chairman of the Union, Kazeem Babatunde who spoke through Abdullahi Oderanti said members of the Union are the ones being victimized.

The Union also wants its property returned by the State Transport Management System leadership.

The State Government had set-up a park management system in 2022 to replace the NURTW.
