The Nigeria Immigration Service has reiterated its commitment to promoting zero tolerance for corruption in the conduct of its duties.

Enugu state Command of the Service stated this at a sensitisation and awareness creation campaign at Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu.

The Nigeria Immigration Service is saddled with the responsibility of Implementing Nigeria’s extant visa regime, Execution of Deportation and repatriation orders, Manning all the nation’s border posts Land, Sea and Air.

At the sensitisation campaign, the immigration service is demonstrating its commitment to checkmate corruption in the service

The state comptroller affirmed that the service will leave no stone unturned to mitigate unprofessional conduct among its personnel.

Air travelers at the airport commend the advocacy which they claim will improve service delivery and repose travelers confidence in the service.

The NIS 2024 nationwide sensitisation is geared to mitigate Corruption and enhancing service delivery within the Nigeria Immigration Service Structure.
