Shooting spree suspect Ezekiel Kelly to appear in court

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man suspected of killing three people and injuring three others during a shooting rampage across Memphis in September 2022 is expected to appear in court today.

Ezekiel Kelly, now 21, is set to face a Shelby County judge at 9 a.m. Monday, July 8, records show.

He was charged with murder in the deaths of Dewayne Tunstall, Richard Clark and Allison Parker. He has pleaded not guilty.

In March 2023, Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy announced that his office was seeking the death penalty against Kelly.
