Although they have stopped twinning through joint appearances and sittings at events, former Governors of Ogun state Gbenga Daniel and Ibikunle Amosun have confirmed their bond remains strong.

They dispelled speculations the stoppage to their twinning is attracting with a show of togetherness at a profile event on Saturday.

They were guests at the traditional wedding ceremony of the children former Senator Tolu Odebiyi and business woman, Bola Shagaya.

The event that had a tidy number of who is who across sectors was held at the Harbour point, Victoria Island, Lagos State

The  political chieftains on the same side of the fractured ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun state spent a bit of time together during their exchange of greetings.

They came differently and continued their “not twinning again” by sitting at separate tables  – but their lengthy spell of “togetherness” while exchanging greatings affirmed continuing shared bonds.

In the politics of Ogun state Senator Gbenga Daniel and immediate past Senator from Ogun Central Amosun are on the same side while Governor Abiodun is on another.
