The Red Devils were hoping to improve on their 4-2 victory over relegation-threatened Sheffield United on Wednesday.

Seeking a way out of the relegation zone, Burnley traveled to Old Trafford and drew 1-1 with Erik Ten Hag’s team.

The starting lineup for Manchester United, which overcame Sheffield United at Old Trafford on Wednesday, remained the same. Mason Mount, an England midfielder, is back on the bench after missing the previous two games due to injury.

On-loan striker David Datro Fofana is the only change from the Burnley side that beat Sheffield United at Bramall Lane seven days ago, with Charlie Taylor dropping to the bench.

The game started with both team looking nervous but Manchester United picked up the pace and looked threatening.

However, they could not get the ball into the back of the net as both teams settled for a draw at halftime break.

The second half started and both teams continued from where they left off, with several chances being wasted.

However, it was not until the 79th minute before Manchester United opened the scoring. Antony scores his first goal of the season after latching onto a terrible Burnley pass in midfield, bursts into the box and slots a shot into the bottom corner.

It did not take long before Burnley was handed the equaliser from the penalty spot after an error from Onana.

Zeki Amdouni wins the penalty and then scores it. Pandemonium in the away end as the Burnley striker sends Andre Onana the wrong way.
