The Yobe state Governor Mai Mala Buni, today condoled with the former Borno state Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff over the death of his mother, Hajja Aisa Modu Sheriff.

Buni described the death of Hajja Aisa as a loss to the people of Borno and Yobe states.

“She was a caring mother, counselor, and philanthropist who loved sharing with people in her community.

“Late Hajj Aisa was a symbol of sacrifice and a God-fearing personality who would always be remembered for her love for the community. ” Gov. Buni said.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannat Firdaus.

The Governor also prayed to God to console Sen. Sheriff and members of the family.

Responding, Sen. Sheriff thanked Governor Buni for the brotherly love shown to the family at this trying moment.

He said the family is eternally grateful to the governor, the government, and the people of Yobe State.
