WARRI – The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is working hard to win the 25 chairmanship and all Councillor positions in the July 13, 2024 Local Government Council elections in Delta State.

This was disclosed by Olorogun Kingsley Esiso, Chairman, People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Delta State while presenting the Party’s flag to Comr. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, Chairmanship Candidate and Hon. Kingsley Edafiadjebre, Vice Chairmanship candidate of the Party for Warri South Local Government Area in Warri, he said that with the crowd of party supporters on ground at the ceremony, no other party exists in the area other than the ruling PDP.

Olorogun Esiso disclosed that the Peoples Democratic Party is moving from local government to local government campaigning round selling the Party’s manifesto to the people, adding, “we are going round all the local governments and Ward to Ward now aselling our party to the good people of Delta State, we are putting in efforts to win in all the Council areas and ensure that Delta State is fully a PDP state.”

While saying that Warri South Local Government Area is a PDP stronghold, Olorogun Esiso noted that the massive turn out of party faithful during the ceremony, signifies resounding success and support for PDP to continue its dominance of the area, adding, “I am using this opportunity to call on you all to go out to campaign for our great party and on Election Day vote massively for Comrade Agbateyiniro and his Vice and all the Councillors to give our people more democracy dividends.”

Olorogun Esiso commended leaders, youths and women of the party in the area, as well as Non-Indigenes led by Senior Special Assistant to Governor Oborevwori on Non Indigenes, Nze Francis Onuora, religious bodies for their loyalty and support toward the growth of PDP in Warri South and other parts of Delta State.

In his speech, Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi, member Representing Warri Federal Constituency in the National Assembly said that the choice of Comrade Weyinmi Agbateyiniro and Hon. Kinglsey Edafiadjebre is the best for the area, describing them as the right pair to deliver Warri South for PDP.

Also speaking, Mr. Johnson Agbeyegbe, Warri South Chairman of the PDP said that PDP don’t lose elections in Warri South Local Government Area, adding, “Comrade Agbateyiniro is here to continue the winning streak for PDP in Warri.”

Comr. Agbateyiniro who spoke on behalf of his Vice Chairman and the twenty Councillorship candidates assured that they would run an efficient, transparent, people-oriented and open door administration that would bring in overall development to Warri South Local Government Area if voted into office.

Comrade Agbateyiniro explained that his Amazing Grace for M-O-R-E Agenda is in tune with the M-O-R-E Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, he expressed his appreciation to the Party elders and leaders, youths, women, students bodies, transport workers, staff of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) and other stakeholders for their support and reposing confidence in him and his team who are set to give good leadership to the people.
