Operatives of the Imo Police Command stationed in Orlu Division in the state, Saturday, arrested a suspected kidnap kingpin known as Elias Igboayaka Diekigbo who hails from Umuna autonomous community. 

He was later moved to the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the State Command in Owerri.

Confirming the incident, the Command’s spokesman, ASP Henry Okoye, said that a thorough investigation on the matter would be carried out at the unit.

He also disclosed that two other suspects were arrested in connection with the case and assured that the Command would not be relenting in its comittment to purge the state of criminal elements.
